Oedipal phase

My family was driving home a couple of days ago when Sam said to me "Momma, you have to many boys you need to have more babies." Meaning I need to have baby girls. I laughed at the statement and told him that I loved my boys and I was happy with them and that when he and Jacob grew up they would marry and have babies of their own. Sam immediately said "Momma, I'm going to marry you and have babies." I could not help but smile and Keith got a good chuckle out of it.

Honey

We were at Fairytale Town a couple of weeks back and I found Sam putting his head into one of the plants in Mr. McGreggar's Garden. I asked him what he was doing and he said "I'm making honey like the bees." Try explaining to a 4 year old who really thinks he can make honey that he can't. So I just sat back and laughed silently to myself. See the picture posted to the right.

Christmas

Well Christmas has come and gone again and now we have another 363 days till we do it all again. And by that time we will have forgotten how much work we put into it until it is all over as we collapse with fatigue. I enjoyed the holiday but am glad that it is over. I look forward to a new year and spending more time with family. Hope everyone has a Happy New Year!
